Read MoreSeriously, take it! I think the information in this course is so good, every teacher should take it. And if you're not a teacher, but you're interested, you should take it too. I find myself using the information from this course in my own practice, my daily life and of course as a teacher. I've experience noticeable growth in my teaching and even received really nice feedback from students. I thoroughly enjoyed learning the information because it is as interesting as it is useful. I found the online format actually really supported my learning because I could take my time to absorb, take thorough notes and find thoughtful answers. The course is very well-organized and each piece is clever and intentional. The forums and Stacy's feedback create a really supportive and connected environment. Most importantly, the information is invaluable and empowering. Its so refreshing to take a course and walk away learning even more than you'd hoped. I can't recommend it enough!

Read MoreThis was the first module I took for my 300hr training with Stacy and Dave. There is so much good information in this course, and I started implementing some of the things I learned immediately into my classes. My students are a huge fan of the core integration sequence too! It's been a huge expander for me to take a deeper dive into functional movement from a dysfunctional pattern approach. I see so many things differently with my students now and am helping them to see it for themselves as well. I would recommend this course to everyone, both teachers and avid students. Understanding the body as a system on this level is so important for a long and healthy practice and I'm excited to learn more. Thanks Stacy & Dave!

Read MoreThe way in which the material in this course is presented and how we are asked to interact with it as learners has really facilitated the application of these ideas to my practice and my teaching. Stacy has done an excellent job of presenting the material in way that makes it accessible to all types of learners as well as both students and teachers. I highly recommend taking this course if you want to learn how to create a yoga practice that is functional and sustainable.

Read MoreThe expertise and knowledge that Stacy exudes is absolutely amazing. She is well organized and professional. She ties in current data and practices with the ancient sutras beautifully. This program is practical, and so wonderfully adaptable. Such a common sense approach to teaching and helping students create a sustainable yoga practice. I'm so appreciative.

Stacy Dockins - Course Instructor
Yoga and mindfulness educator, Stacy Dockins, has dedicated over 25 years of her life to studying the human body and teaching yoga. Her immense understanding of the science and practice of yoga is supported by her Bachelor’s of Science and certifications in 500 Hour E-RYT, Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM-CES), and Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP). She is currently pursuing her Master's of Science with dual concentrations in Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Exercise Psychology at A. T. Still University.

This innovative perspective combines body awareness, science, and exploration, lending practical tools and information that can be immediately applied to the mat.
In addition, Stacy and her husband Dave own three leading yoga studios in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, called Yoga Project studioswhere she creates and directs yoga teacher training courses for 200 and 500 Hour RYT programs.
Through EdX.org, she co-taught the online course, “The Science and Practice of Yoga,” which had over 19,000 participants from around the globe thus far. Stacy has contributed to outlets such as Authority Magazine, Well+Good, HealthiNation, and I AM & CO.
